Attollo is proud to welcome our 2025 summer interns! A dynamic group of students bringing fresh energy, insight, and passion to our mission.

They represent a wide range of experiences and academic paths, each intern contributing their unique perspective to help advance our work and inspire our community.. This year’s cohort represents a diverse range of academic backgrounds, with majors spanning business, sociology, creative writing, film, and social justice. Hailing from institutions like University of Southern California, University of Pittsburgh, Bucknell University, Palm Beach Atlantic University, George Washington University, and more, our interns are already making their mark. Whether supporting behind the scenes or leading from the front, they’re already making an impact and we’re excited to grow alongside them this summer.

Meet Our 2025 Summer Interns:

 

HIWOT WISOTZKEY, ACCESS INTERN

Hiwot is a student at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, with minors in Economics and a certificate in Public and Professional Writing. Her analytical mindset and passion for communication make her a valuable asset to our Access team, where she helps expand outreach and opportunity for future scholars.

 
 
 

DIEGO LANDEVERDE, CREATIVE INTERN

Diego, a student at the University of Southern California, is majoring in Media and Film with a concentration in Intermediate Arts. His eye for storytelling and visual design strengthens our creative projects and media content.

 
 
 

KEREN CHIKA, CREATIVE WRITING INTERN

Keren, an Attollo alumni, studies Creative Writing with a French minor at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Her background in writing and language brings a thoughtful and expressive voice to our storytelling and student engagement efforts.

 
 
 

SERGIO GONZALEZ, PROGRAMS INTERN

Sergio is a Sociology major at Franklin & Marshall College, double minoring in Studio Art and Latin American Studies. A member of the Class of 2027, Sergio blends creativity and community insight to support our programs with a dynamic, inclusive lens.

 
 
 

Tazaiel "Taz" Whitfield, Programs Intern

Taz, another Attollo alumni, graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2023 with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. He is now pursuing a Master's degree in School Counseling at Millersville University, Class of 2025. His background in sociology and counseling will be invaluable to our programs team.

 
 
 

Jashton Best, Creative Intern

Jashton, an Attollo alumni, is a current student at Shippensburg University, majoring in Information Systems and Analysis and Entrepreneurship. As a member of the Class of 2026, Jashton's innovative mindset and technical skills will bolster our creative projects.

 
 
 

ZAFRIN “zaf” ZALAL, PROGRAMS INTERN

Zafrin, an Attollo alumni and projected class of 2027 at Lebanon Valley College, is a double major in Social Justice and Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. Her dedication to advocacy and equity strengthens the heart of our programs work.

 
 
 

ZION MEKONNEN, CREATIVE STUDENT INTERN

Zion, an Attollo scholar, serves on the creative team as a student intern, contributing energy, design intuition, and a fresh perspective to our visual storytelling and event coverage.

 
 

VALERIA BLANCO, STUDENT INTERN

Valeria, an Attollo scholar, supports the team as a student intern, bringing commitment, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to every project she takes on. Valeria will be attending Chatham University in the fall!

 
 

PRITESH TANNA, Admin INTERN

Pritesh, an Attollo alumni, is a student at George Washington University majoring in International Business with concentrations in Business Analytics and Finance. As part of the Access team, Pritesh brings a global perspective and a data-informed approach to outreach and engagement efforts.

 
 

SELINA TANG, PROGRAMS INTERN

Selina, an Attollo alumni and student at Bucknell University, is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Business Analytics. Her data-driven mindset and enthusiasm for team building make her an asset to the programs team.


We are excited to welcome these exceptional individuals to the Attollo team this summer. Their diverse experiences, academic excellence, and shared commitment to leadership and service reflect the very heart of Attollo’s mission.
