Attollo Cuts the Ribbon and Opens the Door to the Future

The Ribbon’s Cut. The Mission Rises.

On Tuesday, June 3rd, Attollo opened the doors to its brand-new headquarters at 8 W King Street with a powerful ribbon cutting celebration that honored the scholars and alumni who inspire everything we do. More than 200 guests—including students, alumni, families, board members, donors, and community leaders—joined us for an evening filled with connection, inspiration, and a shared vision for the future.

Take a look at the photos below to experience the energy of the event and the heart of the Attollo community in action.

Guests toured the new facility—twice the size of our former home and modeled after a modern college student center—designed to foster creativity, connection, and a sense of belonging. From wide open collaboration zones to a state-of-the-art classroom, every inch of the space was built with one goal in mind: to prepare young people for college and the world beyond.

But this wasn’t just about a new space—it was about the stories and people that brought it to life.

During the program, attendees heard remarks from Board President Phil Wenger, CEO Leo Silva, Elspeth Moffatt of Lancaster City Alliance, and Attollo Founder Jordan Steffy, who reminded the crowd that, “We are opening the space to uplift the next generation of leadership her In Lancaster.”

Jordan also took a moment to honor his mentor, Darryl Daniel, whose impact sparked the original vision for Attollo. That same spirit of mentorship continues today, helping every scholar discover how extraordinary they truly are.

One of the most moving moments came from Crystal Kirui, who shared her story of grit and resilience—overcoming a college rejection, appealing the decision, and ultimately being accepted to the University of Southern California, where she’ll join the 1% of successful appeals. Her story was a living example of what happens when scholars are believed in, pushed, and supported every step of the way.

Throughout the evening, guests got an up-close look at what it means to be an Attollo Scholar—from powerful student stories to walls covered in college commitments and dreams realized.

This new space marks a bold step forward—not just for Attollo, but for the entire community of families, leaders, and change-makers who make our mission possible. And while we’re proud of what we’ve built, we know this is just the beginning.

To every scholar, alumni, donor, board member, and supporter: thank you for helping us open more than just a door. Together, we’re opening new futures.
