Boston, Unlocked: Attollo Scholars Explore Tufts, Harvard, and More in a Week of Challenge and Charm
(July 19, 2025) — Four days, seven schools, and one big city. The Attollo Prep Boston College Tour just wrapped! Between the early morning workouts, campus tours, city adventures, and skyline dinners, our scholars made the most of every second.
The trip kicked off strong at Tufts University, a standout favorite. Students enjoyed lunch in the dining hall, a full tour, and a detailed info session that gave them a real sense of campus culture. The vibe was welcoming, and a place several scholars could see themselves.
After Tufts, we headed straight to the Boston Wharf. Students enjoyed ice cream on the pier, and views that reminded us just how much the city and sea Boston has to offer.
Day two started like every other: with a 5AM workout. (Yes. Every. Single. Morning.) Then it was off to Newbury Street to explore, shop, and take in the city. Afterward, we visited Emerson College, where scholars toured campus and got a close look at the theater and media equipment that make Emerson a dream for creatives.
Then came MIT but with a twist. Thanks to a connection through our mentor Emily, an MIT student who’s also a dancer welcomed us with a performance that brought real joy to the group. It wasn’t on the schedule, but it quickly became a favorite memory.

Next up was the Boston Duck Tour, where scholars learned about the city’s history while coasting down the Charles River and even took turns driving the boat! As the sun set, we walked to a quiet spot to take in the Boston skyline accompanied by Ben & Jerry’s, to balance out all the movement.
Day three was a heavy hitter: Harvard tour in the morning, followed by Boston College. At BC, we had an incredibly insightful info session and tour with a student guide who shared a background that really resonated with our scholars. Representation matters, and this moment proved it.
That night, we dressed up for our Professional Development Dinner in the south bay with a private room and Boston skyline in full view. Guests included recent grads from MIT and BU Law, a Tufts admissions officer, and professionals in education, policy, and business. Students asked questions, shared their dreams, and left with full hearts (and full stomachs).
On the final day, we visited BU School of Law, wrapped our final reflections, and said goodbye to Boston, but definitely not to the experiences or the momentum.
And yes, even on the last day, they still got up at 5AM to work out.
