PROGRAM PILLARS

  • STRONG MIND
  • COMPETITION
  • RESILIENCE
  • ACCOUNTABILITY
  • SACRIFICE
  • FINISH STRONG

WHY ARE THERE SO
MANY CUBES

Our Scholars each know how to solve the Rubiks Cube in under two minutes. This is an exercise that forces you to have a strong mind. At first it may seem like impossible task, but after a lot of hard work and dedication you can accomplish anything.

FINDING NEW STUDENTS THROUGH
ATTOLLO RECRUIT PROGRAM

Attollo Recruit is an admittance program for students who seek to become an official Attollo Scholar. Recruits are required to participate in a training program before school at 5:30 am, three days a week, for six weeks. Each week is devoted to students learning and practicing Attollo’s Six Pillars. These Pillars – Strong Mind, Competition, Resiliency, Accountability, Sacrifice, and Finishing Strong – when practiced by Attollo Scholars in their academic, social, and family lives engender success and allow Scholars to be more. In addition to the Pillars, students must learn to solve the Rubik’s Cube under 2 minutes within the six weeks of training. A seemingly impossible task at first, unlocking and understanding the challenge of the Cube teaches Scholars that everything is possible. Mastering the Cube and completing all Attollo Recruit workshops incorporates all tenets of the Pillars. Before becoming an Attollo Scholar, students understand the commitment needed and make the necessary sacrifices to become more than they thought possible.

ATTOLLO CHANGES
OUR COMMUNITY

Attollo is dedicated to providing the highest quality environment conducive to educational, emotional, and social success. We work closely with Scholars by developing individualized plans of action with one goal in mind: college access.

We focus on three specific areas: Academics, Entrepreneurship, and Mentoring. Scholars are required to spend at least three hours a week at our facility, maintain a 3.0 GPA, attend all grade-specific workshops, and participate in extracurricular activities all the while researching potential colleges and careers.

Our Scholars’ tremendous potential stems from the fact that they all face some sort of individual, cultural or institutional adversity. We develop relationships with Scholars, parents, educators and community leaders to ensure a recurring theme of success. The expectations we have for our Scholars are elevated because we refuse to allow mediocrity. Graduates of our program will possess the tools necessary to allow them to make a difference. This will have an immediate impact within their personal lives, as well as their families, friends, schools, and communities.
