Melisa grew up in the heart of Lancaster, Pa. In 5th grade, she was blessed with a scholarship to attend Lancaster Country Day School (LCD), an independent school, which maintains an 100% graduation and college acceptance rate. Upon graduating from LCD, Melisa was granted a full scholarship to Philadelphia University to study business management, but for a better fit, transferred to Temple University, where she graduated with a Sport and Recreation Management Degree and minor in Spanish. At Temple University, Melisa was highly involved in professional organizations such as North American Society for Sport Management, and School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Association. While in the sport and recreation program, Melisa interned at Princeton University and traveled to San Diego, CA for an internship with VAVi Sport and Social club. She also volunteered for Penn Relays, the Greater Philadelphia, mentoring youth in local high schools, and organized fundraisers for local charities. As the program director, Melisa is responsible for the supervision, growth and development of the Bow?Tie program. An advocate for education development, Melisa is on the path to continue providing the highest standards and most efficient tools toward building strong leaders of the Attollo program.
